The next 180 seconds could change your life
So, What Happens After Death?
Whether we face it or not, it’s the most important question in life. Is there something beyond our time on Earth, or do we just cease to exist?
And the reality is that we never know how many days we have left in life.

Many people wrestle with the possibilities…
Reincarnation
Some people believe in reincarnation—a lifecycle where we return in another form
The Void
Others see nothingness. A quiet, eternal sleep where life simply stops
Spiritual Enlightenment
Others hope to reach some higher plane through “spiritual enlightenment”
Heaven and Hell
And many believe in heaven and hell, places of eternal bliss or eternal anguish
But the truth is, the answer to “what happens when we die?”, depends entirely on the answer to another, really big question…

Does God Exist?
If God is real, then the answer to what happens after death isn’t left to chance.
It means there’s an ultimate authority who has created a universal truth about life and eternity.
But, if God doesn’t exist, then it doesn’t matter. Your idea is as good as mine, and neither of them truly matters.
So, is God real?

What’s the Evidence of God’s Existence?
Our Moral Conscience
Deep inside, we all have a sense of right and wrong. When someone commits armed robbery, we all have an innate understanding that what they did was wrong.
But where did that come from? We behave as though we were programmed to inherently know good from evil; because we were. Our moral compass points to a higher moral lawgiver.
The Universe Has a Cause
- Everything that begins to exist has a cause—nothing comes from nothing.
- The universe had a beginning, as almost everyone agrees, thanks to belief in the Big Bang.
- Therefore, the universe must have a cause.
But, this cause must exist beyond the physical universe in order to be able to create it. The Big Bang requires a belief (faith) that something came from nothing.
The Order of the Universe
Think about it. The stars, planets, and the Earth—everything operates with a perfect precision. The sun rises and sets every day, the seasons change predictably, and life flourishes in a perfect balance. Order doesn’t come from chaos; it comes from a mind—a creator.
In other words, the universe is a result of intelligent design. And intelligent design is always the result of an intelligent creator, not by chance.
The universe, our conscience, and these personal encounters, among other evidence…it all points to God. It tells us that He is not only real but is actively involved in our lives. Well, if that’s true, the next question is: What does God say about the afterlife?
Now Introducing…
God in the Flesh: Jesus Christ
If we want to know what God says about the afterlife, it’d be nice if He came down to Earth and told us, wouldn’t it?
Luckily, that’s exactly what He did. Jesus Christ came to Earth approx 2,000 years ago and laid out the roadmap to eternal life: through Jesus Himself.
First, Jesus came to Earth and lived a sinless, perfect life. Then He was crucified on the cross in order to serve as the perfect sacrifice. But on the third day, when even His disciples were losing hope, He resurrected and defeated death.
Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God in human form. Over 2,000 years ago, He lived in the region of Judea, and His life, death, and resurrection are the foundation of Christian faith. Jesus came to save humanity from sin and offer eternal life to all who believe in Him (John 3:16).
What did Jesus teach about eternal life?
Jesus taught that heaven and hell are real, eternal destinations. He said that those who trust and follow Him will have eternal life in heaven with God, while those who reject Him face eternal separation from God. In John 14:6, Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
How do we know we can trust Jesus?
Jesus not only made remarkable claims about Himself but also demonstrated His authority through miracles, prophecies, and His resurrection from the dead. His followers witnessed these events, and historical records, such as those of the historian Josephus, affirm that Jesus truly lived, died, and sparked a movement that continues to change lives today. Jesus’ promises have transformed millions of people throughout history and continue to do so.
What did Jesus ask of us on Earth?
Jesus asked that we believe in Him, follow His teachings, and love God and others as ourselves. His greatest commandments are found in Matthew 22:37-39: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” He also asks us to share His salvation (Matthew 28:19-20).
Can we trust him?…
The Evidence of Jesus Christ
If Jesus truly rose from the dead, it means He knows the way to eternal life. And the good news is: He offers it freely.
But before you put your faith in anyone, you need to look at the evidence of whether or not their claims are true.
Historial Records
It’s not just the Bible that talks about Jesus. Roman historians like Tacitus and Josephus mention Him. They record His crucifixion and the claims of His resurrection. Even secular history affirms that Jesus lived, died, and sparked a movement that changed the world.

The Lives of His Followers
Jesus’ disciples went from hiding in fear after His death to boldly proclaiming His resurrection, after seeing Him in the flesh after His crucifixion. Many faced death themselves just for claiming Jesus as Lord. Studies have proven it—people won’t die for something they know to be a lie; they’ll only die for what they’re sure to be the truth.
Millions of Changed Lives
Millions of people today claim that Jesus has changed their lives. From addiction and despair to joy and purpose, their stories testify to the power of His love and mercy.
What Now? The Choice is Yours
So, what do you do with this information? You’ve read about the possibilities, the evidence of God, and Jesus’ truth.
Jesus made it simple: He said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If He’s right, then accepting Him means finding eternal life. Rejecting Him means risking an eternity separated from God.
But this isn’t just about avoiding hell; it’s about discovering purpose and peace right now. Jesus doesn’t just promise life after death—He offers a life transformed today.
